Correction to the Minutes of October, 2004

Statement follows:

Meeting Minutes

During the business meetings of the Euryale reunions, minutes were taken to record the items discussed and approved. Minutes would then be sent to members attending and read, corrected and approved at the next meeting. The minutes of the San Antonio meeting held in October of 2004 never received such review because it was the LAST reunion scheduled. However, there is one item needing attention.

During the meeting, President Ostapeck cited Sheri Lytle for her many and valued contributions to the reunions and proposed that she be officially made an honorary Euryale crew member. This proposal received overwhelming approval but no mention was ever made in the final minutes distributed.

Please consider this expression in the Gorgon to correct that omission. I ask that all crew members now express their personal message to Sheri as we respectfully "pipe" her aboard.

Welcome shipmate!

To be made a part of this elite group is the greatest honor of my life. I often wonder how my father would feel about my making contact with his shipmates from over 50 years ago. I like to think that he would be very proud, pleased and honored. Thank you from the bottom of my heart.
