The Birds of 2009. Some beautiful visitors
I was sitting on my porch yesterday morning on one of the first good days we’ve had for birdwatching in a while. As I was watching for visitors to come in, I was thinking of all the wonderful birds that came around last year and decided they should be memorialized somehow.

Most of the plants were first-year growths and they flourished, much to my joy. I’m excited to see what they do this year. Stay tuned!

Christmas 2009
I made a short video of our home at Christmas time. I don’t do much outside but I do fill up the inside. I have been seriously collecting decorations for about 20 years and yes, I use just about everything that I have. I didn’t show everything in the video though, as I wanted to time it perfectly with the music. In fact, I cut some stills out so the video would end with the music. I have a whole year to get better at this (this is my first!) Enjoy!
